TIPS
You should always choose songs and monologues that are age appropriate.
Have confidence in the pieces you’ve chosen.
Rehearse your pieces over and over and over! You can't just "wing it" when it comes to college auditions. You must prepare.
Have a one-page, theatrical resume that shows your work. DO NOT lie on your resume. Here's a template.
Wear something that makes you feel good about YOU. Show your personality through your style. Check out my Pinterest board for some ideas.
Most importantly, go into the audition and be yourself. Don’t be anyone else but you.
Right tools for the job.
Just like any other profession, having the right tools and equipment can make all the difference in your audition much less your performance. Check out my Pinterest page for a carefully curated list to add to your toolbox!
