5. Liability Waiver
There is very little risk when working on the actual technique of audition coaching. I want all students and parents to remain safe and confident during this process. However please know:
Audition Well is not responsible for any injuries that may occur during audition coaching.
Audition Well is not responsible for any vocal injuries (vocal strain or nodes) or physical injuries. It is very unlikely any of these things should occur during a coaching session, however, please let me know if your child has been sick, recently injured himself/herself in dance class, has a sore throat etc. This will make it easier for all of us and we can work more carefully.
While working with Audition Well does help each actor to gain confidence, audition skills and preparation needed for the professional audition setting, it does not automatically guarantee admittance into a college theatre program, or production for which he/she is auditioning.
6. Exchange of Money
Payments can be made on auditionwell.com via PayPal.
Payments must be made in advance before the coaching session takes place.
Payments for monthly packages must be made on the first of each month.
On the off chance that a payment is returned, there will be a $25 fee
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. If you did not cancel within the 24-hour window, you’ll still be charged and the session will not be made up.
Please let me know if you’re running late for your session, if time allows, I may be able to make it up, but it’s not guaranteed.
If I cancel for any reason, I will make up your session.
Should you choose to discontinue working with Audition Well, which I will be sad to see you go, please note, there are no refunds for pre-paid services.
You can reach me via email or phone. I will respond to your email, call or text as quickly as possible.
9. Coaching Session Policies
For one-on-one in person coaching sessions, parents are always welcome to be within earshot, but I ask that no parents are in the room during coaching sessions. Sometimes students get shy and won’t “let go” resulting in inhibited work.
Students are encouraged to record his/her coaching session for reference material and rehearsal purposes. He/she may not post to social media, without permission from Audition Well. Video recordings of songs and monologues during the coaching session will be necessary, the student may do what he/she wishes with videos.
Phones are permitted for recording purposes, but for the 45 minutes-one hour we are working together, I ask that the student refrains from texting and making calls so we can focus on our work.
